We are pleased to introduce you to the dedicated animal care team at Martin Veterinary Hospital.

Amanda is a registered 2005 veterinary technician graduate from St. Clair College and has been working with MVH since 2009. She has a mutt named Wade and a lovebird named Kakashi meaning scarecrow. She is an avid golfer, enjoys crochet and other arts and crafts.

Julia began working at MVH in 2009. She graduated from Sheridan College Animal Care Program in 2010. You can find Julia helping out whenever and wherever she can. MVH is a cleaner place because of her. She has a Shih-poo named Buddy. She enjoys attending rock concerts, Zumba classes, biking and puzzles, especially Sudoku.

Liz has worked for MVH since 1996. She graduated from Sheridan with honours as an Animal Care Technologist in 1996. She updates our Facebook, other multimedia resources and email communications. When not at MVH she loves spending time outside in her garden and always enjoys time spent in Muskoka.

Patricia graduated as a doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Brazil in 1995. She has Master’s degree in Homeopathy, an MBA and has completed numerous certificate programs in small animal medicine and surgery from Brazil. She came to Canada in 2015 and joined the MVH team in 2016. She has just completed a business management program at Humber College. She is enjoying learning and helping MVH while we help her to try to find her goals in Canada. When she has some free time, she loves stand up paddling often with her tea cup Chihuahua, Wiki. She also enjoys scrapbooking. Patricia, her son and Wiki are happy to have Canada as their new home.

Animal Care Assistants

We have a number of secondary and post-secondary students who assist the professional staff with animal care and daily hospital tasks.
