Meet Dr. Chen

Dr. Stephanie Chen, DVM

Dr. Stephanie Chen spent her formative years in Montreal and settled in Toronto. It all started with “can we get a horse? We can keep it in the backyard.” This was Dr. Chen’s reply to her parents when told they could not have a cat or dog. Dr. Chen knew from a young age that she wanted a career working with animals. She followed her childhood dream to the University of Guelph, where she graduated as a veterinarian in 1993. Surgery and internal medicine are her most significant interests, and she enjoys the challenge of interesting cases. Together with her family, she enjoys the outdoors and going cycling.
